The Great Eastern Investment Forum (GEIF) is a leading UK
business angel network located in Cambridge which exists to
introduce ambitious, innovative companies seeking funding
to business angels and other early-stage funders seeking quality
investment opportunities.
In addition to introducing quality controlled, selective
dealflow to investors, GEIF strives to encourage and facilitate

consisting of individual investors, VCs, corporate investors
and professional advisors with access to high net worth individuals.
Broad sectoral appeal - GEIF is approached by companies
representing a vast range of sectors including software, food
& drink, biotech, media, telecoms, leisure and manufacturing.
Quality deal flow to investors - GEIF provides quality
controlled, selective deal-flow to investing members. Following
an exhaustive filtering process,
approximately 40 companies are selected to present to GEIF
business angels each year.
An excellent track record - GEIF has a proven track
record of successful introductions between investors and high-growth
businesses. Over 230 companies have presented to GEIF angels
since its formation and of these c. 30% have been successful
in sourcing funding - amounting to a total direct investment
by GEIF members and GEIF Ventures of c: £8.5m.
Topical events - GEIF supports its network of investors
with ‘Investing Angels’ investor-only events and regular Breakfast
Briefings with keynote speakers from the investment community.
