Benefits of Membership
GEIF exists to introduce quality controlled, selective dealflow
to the members and to facilitate and encourage the development of
the investment community. In support of these objectives, GEIF runs
two main event programmes, as detailed below. Additional presentations
and discussion group events are arranged throughout the year, often
in partnership with both regional and national businesses and professional
organisations.
In addition to reduced entry to the below events, other benefits
of membership include an invitation to the Annual GEIF Dinner at
King's College (Cambridge) and the potential for GEIF Ventures to
co-invest (see www.geifventures.co.uk).

At the heart of GEIF's activity, Presentation Days provide an opportunity
for up to eight companies to deliver a 10 minute 'elevator pitch'
to the GEIF business angels, followed by breakout sessions in which
their business opportunities can be discussed in more detail. Presenting
companies are selected following an exhaustive filtering process
and are put through an intensive investment-readiness programme
in advance of their introduction.
Presentation Days take place four times a year, and are held at
the Q.ton Forum Centre on the Cambridge Science Park, beginning
at 9am and ending after a buffet lunch at approximately 2pm.
Primarily for members, Presentation Days are also open on a one-off
basis to non-members considering angel investment, or investing
through GEIF, for the first time. Please click here
