Membership of GEIF is open to individual investors, corporate investors, and professionals related to the investment community. The existing 320+ members come from a range of business and other backgrounds and diverse geographical locations.

Each year, the GEIF team introduces over 30 companies seeking between £100K - £1m of angel funding to GEIF business angels. Our focus is to provide quality controlled, selective dealflow from a range of sectors and locations, and we invest significant amounts of time in helping applicant companies refine and articulate their business model and investment potential.

We offer two membership options to meet the needs of both individual and corporate members:

Annual fee: £250 + VAT = £293.75, refundable if 2 or more investments are made during a membership year through GEIF which are not exempted from GEIF success fees

Corporate Individuals - where a private investor has, for whatever reason, created a corporate structure for his investing activity - treated as individual member

Corporate Collective Investors - where a number of private individuals have clubbed together with a corporate structure to make investments together e.g. a managed angel network or club or other BAN - charged as 3 individuals with up to six named individuals permitted to attend GEIF events. One 'lead' member will be nominated for all correspondence / communication

Companies - different types of company can be members of GEIF but since their involvement is different we have characterised the following categories and will determine for each company into which category it will be classified

Industrial Trading Companies

Annual fee: £750 + VAT = £881.25

This entitles industrial trading companies to register up to three named employees as GEIF members

Venture Capital, Investment Funds and Institutional Investors

Annual fee: £1000 + VAT = £1175.00

This entitles institutional investors to register up to five employees as GEIF Members.
