Introduction | The
Programme | On-Line
The Cambridge Network website, http://www.cambridgenetwork.co.uk
has proved to be a highly effective mechanism for advertising and
handling registrations for Programme events.
The excellent turn-out is proof of the strong desire among would-be
entrepreneurs to improve their skills and learn more from those
with hands-on experience people who have proved that venturing
does offer an alternative to a 'mainstream' career, and that it
can pay off.
To help make the activities of the Programme available to a wider
audience, the organisers have gained the support of the Department
for Education and Employment to develop a 'Virtual Learning Network
for Entrepreneurship'. This will deliver elements of the Programme
on-line, and will be launched in the Spring of next year. These
developments are being taken forward by the Judge Institute of Management
Studies in collaboration with the Cambridge Programme for Industry
and the Engineering & Science faculties of Cambridge University.
